Our Family Bugout Bag (BOB)

A modular evacuation system for the modern family unit.

Why a Family BOB is Different

Evacuating with a family is not just 'solo prepping x4'. It requires load distribution shared redundancies and specialized care for children or elders. Our system focuses on a modular approach where each member carries a specific portion of the group's survival resources.

This guide covers the logic of shared gear the 5C's of survival for families and how to distribute weight logically across different physical capabilities.

The Philosophy of Modular Evacuation

Everyone in the family has one BOB adjusted for weight and age. I carry the biggest load but everybody carries. High-density equipment is shared across the unit to ensure maximum resources with minimum individual burden.

Your Goal Dictates the Gear: A family BOB is a bridge to a safe location. It is not an 'I live in the woods forever' kit. Focus on 72 hours of mobility and comfort.

If necessary we can use paracord with carabiners to stay together in Low Visibility Conditions. Items marked with a link are available in our curated database.
